Dan  Evans

Dan Evans has been coming to Menifee since his sister and brother in law moved to Menifee Lakes in 1989. Dan used to ride motorcycles southeast of Wheatfield in what is now the Abbey Lane and Shadow Hills area. Dan bought his first house and moved to Menifee in 2001, the same year he began his real estate career. He and his wife Jessica raise their two girls in Menifee and were active in youth sports for over a decade.

In his early career, Dan mainly worked the Menifee area and was known throughout the small town as “Dan, Dan, The Menifee Man.” During the housing recession, Dan worked with banks to help unload Real Estate Owned properties.

In 2010, Dan became a licensed Broker and opened his own “mom and pop” real estate brokerage. It was during this time, he developed a knack for finding “deals” and began helping investors renovate and resale properties.

In 2016, Dan began testing a “flat fee” real estate model. The goal was to see if he could provide a valuable service to his clients, at a cost savings not seen in the area, while still being profitable. After 2 years of testing different marketing techniques, Dan was able to implement a system that created the demand that would allow him to pursue his idea. In January of 2018, the model was put into action. It was immediately clear, that it would work. By the summer of 2018, Dan was one of the top 10 listing agents in The Temecula Valley. Then he STOPPED all marketing!

In 2018, with 17 years in the business, Dan decided to put things on hold (Kind Of) to become an expert in the mortgage industry. In 2019, he became a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer and set about learning from one of the top lenders in the United States. “I was tired of lenders telling me things that ended up being lies. I wanted to know the process so that my sellers didn’t end up being victims of a failed transaction because of the lender.”

During 2020-2021, Dan averaged over 20 real estate deals and 20 loans per year without any marketing. “I wanted to make sure I had loans down so that I could better serve my clients. I knew my experience as a Broker and knowledge of the real estate contracts were second to none. I wanted to be that same person as a lender. Being able to read the buyer’s qualifications is a big deal to the success of the sale. Very few agents/ Brokers have that ability and I wanted to set myself apart and be in a better position to help my clients.” While Dan takes pride in his work, he is also a proud father, husband, and member of the community. When he’s not helping his clients buy, sell and finance real estate, you can find Dan and the family surfing or camping at the beach or sneaking in 18 (sometimes 36) holes at Menifee Lakes Golf Course.
